More On Me And My Pictures.

Yesterday, I mentioned that I’m happy with the fact I’m taking pictures if not exactly happy with how the pictures actually turn out. Let’s look at a few from the past week.
This is a picture of the Nike Convoy. The flash washed out the details on the figure. I used the macro mode since I was so close, but I guess I should’ve not had the camera so close to the figure.
Again, another toy picture taken with macro mode… and the flash washed it out.
019 - First Armor Party Of The Year
Used the simple mode and set the self-timer. Should’ve zoomed in a bit to get rid of the TV on the left side, although you can make the argument it’s there to show we were watching Star Wars movies. But no, I wasn’t thinking properly about the composition.
This one turned out okay. I just wanted to reiterate that HOLY CRAP IT WAS COLD. At the time this was taken, probably -10 F temperature, -25 wind chill. And my heater took about 20 minutes to work on the 25 minute drive home. I seriously drove like this for most of the ride.
On the cruise, David of TourPhotographer.com is holding a session on how to take better pictures. I think I’m going to go to that. I’ll bring my camera and instruction manual and maybe get some tips.
