So, today, I was going talk about New Year’s Eve, but something happened to me today. So I’ll save that story for later in the week.
I hurt myself today.
Over lunch, I went to Target to look for a clearanced Star Wars figure set for a friend. As I got out of my car and headed towards the store, I didn’t see that patch of ice. I slipped and fell to the asphalt, scraping my right knee and torquing my left foot.
When I got home, I took some Advil and immediately put ice on it for most of the rest of the day (with breaks in between, of course). I can walk and put pressure on it, so it’s not broken. Probably just a strain/sprain. The pain’s not that great — haven’t taken Advil since 2:00pm.
The worst thing? The damn Star Wars toy set wasn’t even there.
